How Much Does a Website Cost in Dubai?

What agencies publish as typical prices
Dubai agencies and website builders publish very different ranges, and they are rough guides, not quotes. Some agency guides put a basic business website at roughly AED 3,000 to 8,000. Others describe company websites at roughly AED 8,000 to 55,000, and online shops at roughly AED 15,000 to 100,000 or more. Do-it-yourself builders start lower, at a monthly subscription, but you do the work yourself. Treat every figure as one agency's own view of its own services. We have not averaged them, because the offers behind each number are not the same.
Why quotes differ so much
Number of pages
A five page site and a forty page site are different jobs.
Template or custom design
A template is faster and cheaper, custom design costs more and takes longer.
Who writes the content
Copy, photos and service descriptions are real work, and some quotes leave them out.
Features
Booking, online payment, customer portals, calculators and integrations add cost.
Arabic and English
A second language with right-to-left layout is more than a translation.
SEO setup
Page titles, structure, schema, speed and tracking are either included or sold separately.
What should be included in the price
A clear quote lists what you get. Check that it covers:
- Design for mobile and desktop
- The pages you agreed
- Contact form that reaches your inbox
- WhatsApp and call buttons
- Google Maps
- Basic technical SEO (titles, descriptions, headings, sitemap, structured data)
- Page speed checks
- SSL
- Analytics set up
- Training or a handover
- Ownership of the domain, files and content
Costs outside the build
Some costs sit outside the build itself or come after launch:
- Domain name (yearly)
- Hosting (yearly or monthly)
- Maintenance and updates
- New content over time
- Photography shot for your business, if you want it
- Translation
- Paid tools or plugins
- Ongoing SEO if you want to grow search traffic
Fixed price or estimate
A fixed price states the pages, features and delivery date up front. An estimate can grow when the scope changes. Ask which one you are getting and what triggers extra charges. At Nordvia Digital our websites start from AED 3,992 as a fixed price, including service pages, an enquiry form, WhatsApp and call buttons, Google Maps and technical SEO setup. A customer portal, a larger content library or an Arabic version is quoted separately.
Ten questions to ask before you accept a quote
- Which pages are included?
- Is the price fixed?
- Who writes the text and supplies the photos?
- Is Arabic included, and how is it built?
- What SEO work is included?
- Who owns the domain, hosting account and files?
- What does hosting and maintenance cost after launch?
- How many rounds of changes are included?
- How long will it take, and what do you need from me?
- What happens if I want to leave?
Warning signs
- A price far below everyone else with no list of what is included
- No written scope
- The agency keeps ownership of your domain or files
- Promises of a guaranteed Google ranking (nobody can guarantee one, and Google says so)
- No examples of finished work
- Pressure to pay everything before any design is shown
Dubai-specific points
If you serve both residents and visitors, English and Arabic matter. Most searches happen on phones, so mobile layout matters most. A trade licence or business details often need to appear on the site. Showing your address, hours and WhatsApp number clearly helps customers and supports local search. A free Google Business Profile also helps customers find you on Maps.
How to set a budget
List the pages you need, decide whether you need an online shop or only enquiries, decide how many languages, then ask two or three agencies to quote the same list. Compare the lists, not only the totals. Add a yearly amount for domain, hosting and updates.

Frequently asked questions
Is a cheap website enough for a small business?
It can be, if it has the pages, speed and mobile layout your customers need, and if you own it. Check what is missing before you decide, because content, SEO setup and hosting are often extra.
Why do some Dubai quotes start under AED 1,000?
Those offers are usually templates or single pages with limited support, and extras are sold separately. Compare what is included, not the headline price.
Do I pay for hosting and a domain separately?
Often yes. Ask whether the first year is included and what the renewal price is.
How long does it take to build a business website in Dubai?
It depends on page count and how quickly you provide text and photos. Ask for a delivery date in writing.
Does a website guarantee Google rankings?
No. A well built site gives search engines a clear structure, but nobody can guarantee a position. Be careful with anyone who does.
Should I pay for Arabic?
If your customers search or read in Arabic, yes. A proper Arabic version needs right-to-left layout and natural writing, not only translated text.
